It's a time where we receive inspiration and instruction, and the words of Conference left us Sistas feeling edified and ready to do work on ourselves and service for others.<br /><br /><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhs8-9OhEzym6dvq_v5pXYrJ0-cJELzIUjv9gZxF3UlCqE2-Tb4cSNXBg6Q7sgBoSfo1scNd8YBOz_Z5OfScwbpP4oxkS4NZt6I7CaMnx-n6kPHUA_00JetyDP-avPIxK8L-qAeA1henVM/s1600/photo.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhs8-9OhEzym6dvq_v5pXYrJ0-cJELzIUjv9gZxF3UlCqE2-Tb4cSNXBg6Q7sgBoSfo1scNd8YBOz_Z5OfScwbpP4oxkS4NZt6I7CaMnx-n6kPHUA_00JetyDP-avPIxK8L-qAeA1henVM/s200/photo.JPG" width="200" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Sista Catherine, Sista Laurel, <br />Nkoyo Iyamba & Sista Beehive</td></tr></tbody></table>It was a busy weekend as well! First we stopped by KSL Newsradio to be interviewed by <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Nkoyo-Iyamba-KSL/266243413413353" target="_blank">Nkoyo Iyamba</a>, host of Cultural Connections. We brought along Sista Catherine (We can't live without her!) and had a good ole time talkin' about faith, what <i>ain't</i> our testimonies and keepin' it real. Just in case ya'll don't know it Sista Iyamba is one of the pretty faces you see singing for the Lord in Motab! We tried to get her to give us the dirt on <a href="http://www.sistasinzion.com/2010/01/alex-boye-wants-jesus-to-walk-with-him.html" target="_blank">Alex Boye</a>, but she said what happens in Motab stays in Motab. They must have that Mormon Mafia code of silence or something. You can listen to the interview <a href="http://pandora.bonnint.net/audio/2012_04_01_cultural_connections.mp3" target="_blank">here</a>.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><a href="http://twitter.com/sistasinzion" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img src="http://www.searchenginegenie.com/images/twitter17.jpg" title="By: searchenginegenie.com" /></a>Of Course we listened to Conference and even made our way down to the Conference Center. We live tweeted Conference which was all kinds of fabulous, helping the LDS Church out as ebonical translators in an unofficial capacity...you're welcome <a href="http://www.thomassmonson.org/" target="_blank">President Monson</a>. Party with the Sistas on twitter <a href="http://twitter.com/sistasinzion" target="_blank">@sistasinzion</a>!<br /><br /><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhc8DSd-2kfF6e7FqdCnD5HjpnU8vBsIbc1_jHIFz2lEXOJgGAZ97kQMjBB6iVKF4XLDHpJ-YrLepOPyyLOfYWGpN6iELsYn3XG86DWQK3EtGopyqV1NLU-R8H9PFOKIKJ978Oj_nxlUKc/s1600/photo+%25281%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhc8DSd-2kfF6e7FqdCnD5HjpnU8vBsIbc1_jHIFz2lEXOJgGAZ97kQMjBB6iVKF4XLDHpJ-YrLepOPyyLOfYWGpN6iELsYn3XG86DWQK3EtGopyqV1NLU-R8H9PFOKIKJ978Oj_nxlUKc/s200/photo+%25281%2529.JPG" width="200" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Sista Laurel, Jabari Parker,<br />Sista Beehive & Christian Parker</td></tr></tbody></table>If you were keepin' your Sabbath holy with the Sistas then you heard us on Sistas in Zion Radio with Christian and Jabari Parker. It was amazing spending time with such exemplary young men of faith. The pair showed what brotherhood is really all about. If you missed the interview you can catch it <a href="http://www.sistasinzion.com/2012/04/listen-live-to-sistas-in-zion-radio.html" target="_blank">here</a>. And true to their word Christian and Jabari stopped by one of our callers, 4 year old Tyson's home, to meet him today. We'll post pics and Tyson's response soon!<br /><br />It was a jammed packed weekend, but we had a lot of fun and most importantly felt the Spirit. Thankfully Conference happens twice a year,  we can't wait until October! (See more pics from our weekend on <a href="http://facebook.com/sistasinzion" target="_blank">Facebook</a>.)<br /><br />God is Good,<br />Sista Beehive & Sista Laurel<br /><br />
